Weekend Warrior Vol 1-Creating Vacation Memories

You’re having a spectacular time during your vacation but all too soon it will be over and time to get back to the day to day grind of your regular life. Before it comes to an end, be sure to collect some keepsakes. A photo of you and your favourite waitress from the restaurant you love, keepsakes from your Jolly Roger cruise you went on, Banks beer bottle cap, sea shells and sand, a bill from that supermarket with the funny name, some local money, whatever. Whenever you return home (or while you’re still on the island), you can create an awesome keepsake of your time spent abroad.

If you like writing then maybe a scrapbook is the thing for you. Using photos and notes, you can reminisce on your vacation. Everytime you look through the book, the memories can come flashing back.

If you are more of a visual person, a jar of memories or even an ornament may suit you better. Place all of your wonderful collections (doesn’t even have to be something spectacular, as long as it has meaning to you) in the jar, seal it off and add a lebel. Use it as a bookend or a centre piece or whatever you wish, the visual is there to spark your memory.
