Dah Beach is Mine

Every bajan has a favorite beach. Some, like a few I posed the question “What is your favorite beach and why” would first claim they don’t have any, but eventually, they will tell you which one they prefer. What did some Bajans say when the question was asked? The answers were quite interesting…

Browne’s Beach

  • Family memories and accessibility – Kimberly
  • Water is nice – Andrew
  • It’s in walking distance from my home. Also, it’s not always crowded even when there are a lot of tourists present and the bathroom facility is always clean — Ramana
  • Easy Access and Safety – Winslow
  • It is close to me – Dwight
  • Water low, beach always has people and its clean and well kept and makes good for my photography – Isaiah
  • Good mix between accessibility and it has some quiet spots — Dario
  • Calm and spacious — Malissa
  • Mainly because of the atmosphere and the fact that you have that opportunity to meet and talk to other people especially those older persons who are always willing to share their experiences – Taurean A

Enterprise Beach

  • Would be because of personal connection — like my family lives nearby so the association and memories — Samiya

Brandons

  • Because it’s expansive and I’ve had the best memories as of late at that beach as compared to others – Marlon
  • I try to teach myself to swim there so its where I overcome most of my fears with the sea — Ashleigh

Gibbs
